Tee – Thrifted | Shorts – Mango | Necklace – Old | Shoes – Truffle
Working with different people, attending social gatherings and events, I’ve been a spectator to a lot of things and have always failed to understand why people get so easily drawn towards gossip? Why do they judge and pass comments without even knowing the person. I’ve always believed that everyone is entitled to their opinion and may or may not like someone due to a silly or a strong reason. Which is fine. We do come back home and often discuss about people and things we didn’t like. However one does not need to look down on others or publicly make snide remarks on one’s looks, financial status or the kind of work they do. Makes me recall an incident where the founder of a clothing rental app had come to explain his marketing proposal. I personally might not prefer or need sourcing clothes from a rental app but there are celebs and people who might find it very helpful and may not want to spend lavish amount on a designer outfit just for an event or a party. Each to his own and we are no-one to judge. But it was quite sad that the gentleman was made fun of. Hopefully someday, we would learn to control the urge of passing negative comments and mock people. Someday we would learn to be less judgmental. Someday we would be able to eliminate gossip out of our lives for good. Someday we would learn to look at things with maturity.
A comfy Tee and shorts accessorized with an old tribal necklace I had bought few years ago made a cool garb for a Sunday with friends.
