Quite often we forget we are not machines trapped in human bodies and deserve a downtime – away from our phones, internet, deadlines and unnecessary commitments. We are so often glued to our laptops with barely any movement for hours together, having meals without enjoying them and sleeping at late odd hours. We are always getting carried away by work and sometimes even forget to reach out for a glass of water. Eat Well, Work Well, Move Well, Sleep Well and Feel Well – My staycation with The Westin Hyderabad a few days ago was all about experiencing these pillars of Wellness.

I was presented with a detailed itinerary of how I was going to experience a program that would help me come back feeling healthy and rejuvenated. My check-in at the luxurious hotel started with a delectable lunch at Prego, followed by some pool time to relax/ ‘Move Well’ and a soothing 60 min. signature massage to ‘Feel Well’ at The Heavenly Spa which quite literally lives up to its’ name. An extended nap and I was ready for the yummiest Mediterranean dinner at Casbah in a black number. Post dinner, I was prepped to ‘Sleep Well’ with a relaxing chamomile tea waiting in my room only to wake-up late next morning to a beyond lavish experience – the breakfast. As a part of their ‘Eat Well’ campaign, I was served the heartiest and an extremely nourishing breakfast that I finished quite easily (well, almost). I couldn’t help but fall asleep after the breakfast again which I was totally allowed with a late check-out as a part of their Weekend Wellness Concept.

Some experiences spoil you for good, and The Westin did exactly that in the most welcoming and beautiful way. Thank you for having me experience this memorable and unforgettable staycation.
