Shot at Rustic Vogue hotel resort
The significance of a vacation/staycation is often not realized unless you take one. With little experience I can still say- you come back with an inexplicable amount of mental energy and an inspired mind. The toughest of tasks you have been procrastinating for long can be tackled easily when you’re revived mentally.
The sound of rare species of birds early in the mornings, beautiful sunlight peeking through the window, and a spectacular view of the lake from our room – waking up in the company of my three furry friends in a place like this was on my list for the longest time. In Spite of being loaded with work, I took the chance of breaking the rut of staying cooped in my room and working for endless hours and planning a getaway with Rustic Vogue.
Bare skin, no makeup (except for when I shot these), comfiest clothes and lots of fresh air – was just what the body and mind needed.
The sweet people at the resort decided to set up a bonfire night the evening we checked-in and a little picnic and barbecue for us the next day. We carried our own marinade, however it decided to rain so heavily as soon as our first batch went onto the grill that we had to pack everything up and get back into our room. However, some music, more time with our pets and some Indian food we ordered-in, summed up our last evening at the resort. We made sure we carried our sanitizers around and wear our masks wherever required.
An experience to remember with hopes of many more to come. Thank you Rustic Vogue for hosting us.
Leaving you with images of the little picnic the sweet people arranged for us.
