Sari – Mum’s closet | Earrings , Shirt , Boots & Backpack – Old
This has been the paciest and the most exciting January of all the recent years for me in terms of work. I’ve been creating content almost everyday (which I totally love), and only enjoying every bit of it. It so happens at times that when you don’t plan much, everything seems to fall in place on it’s own.
There have been a lot of weddings the past month and if I have to admit, I hardly attend any, unless it’s someone close to me getting married, And when it comes to Indian traditional wear, I’m usually reluctant towards investing in them, for I know I won’t wear them all round the year. Therefore, I tried to pair a sari with a cotton shirt for an Indian ceremony look. I completed the look with a pair of black and gold earrings and my black ankle boots and backpack to add a bit of edginess. That’s about the look!
On a different note, I received a pair of slippers with detachable soles from mahabis.com this week. If I have to describe them, they are the comfiest slippers I’ve ever come across. Choosing the sole was a tough choice since they have the most amazing colors available. However, I chose black so I can wear it with any outfit. You could check them out on my Instagram here. And if any of you liked it, you could use my code: IGXidres for 15% off everything and free worldwide shipping on the website.
For my readers based in India, a quick reminder about the giveaway I Dress for the Applause is hosting in association with Shop Rhea. If you haven’t yet, you can participate here.
Love,
Naznin
