Beauty Barn India
Before I review any beauty product on IDFTA, I try to make sure I only feature the ones I’m ecstatic about trying out and have used it for at least a month to be able to share an honest opinion about it. Korean skincare has been quite famous in the fashion industry with various models and celebs including the products in their routine. Having watched quite a few videos about the their 10-step nighttime regimen, I have been wanting to try them out for a long time. With this association with Beauty Barn India that retails the best of Korean beauty products freshly sourced from the brands, I was intrigued to try out some snail-based skincare. After a tiny bit of research about the brand Cosrx, I picked their Power Essence and All In One Cream to include into my basic skincare routine. That also led me to read-up a bit about the extraction of mucin, the key ingredient of this range. There may or may-not be facts unknown to the consumers about the whole process of extraction, however from the details available online, I’m convinced to an extent that snails are not harmed in this process.
Coming to my routine, I evenly apply the Essence all over my face after cleansing and wait for the product to soak into my skin. I apply an oil serum after and massage it into my skin with the help of this roller that works beautifully for me. I then follow up with the All in one Cream that’s thick in consistency and makes the skin feel slightly tingly only for a couple of secs, after which my skin is left feeling hydrated and well-moisturized. I love the fact that neither of these products make my skin appear oily the next morning or cause break-outs. Having used it for over a month now, I love how it makes my skin look dewy and fresh while also slowly improving the appearance of pores on my skin and the overall texture. While I continue to use these, I can’t wait to try out more Asian skincare to see how they improve my skin this summer and monsoons to come.
