Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli
Missing shooting outdoors for months together, I was longing to shoot outside of home, under the trees and sun, change outfits – one after the other and reward myself with sumptuous meals post shoot. After a long hiatus (courtesy Covid -19), I had the chance to get out of the rut of working while cooped up in my room and shoot a series of images at the Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli while spending a day there. Everything felt the same, yet new, with whiffs of sanitizers and masks on faces, expressions of the eyes of every passing human making me do guesswork.
My day at Hyatt started with an afternoon check-in with all safety measures in place, followed by an hour to relax and yummy sundowners by the pool, specially handcrafted by the head chef. Though the pool wasn’t open for swimming, the sound of the water felt like therapy while watching the moon. A quick change post drinks and a delicious dinner at Mrs.Mage was waiting. More pretty-looking drinks accompanied with delicious Mrs.Mage’s recipes from all around the world was laid on the perfect table and setting for us to relish to bring an end to the day.
A morning-run at their vast and tranquil jogger’s track the next day charged me up for the day and I was ready for a lavish room breakfast. Well, lavish could be an understatement here. An afternoon relaxing spa session made the staycation/work experience impeccable. Beautiful and safe – like a luxurious home not-so-away from home is how I would describe it. A much needed pause -unpause.
