A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with Kaashi to create beauty images for the brand as a photographer. Kaashi is a beauty and wellness brand firmly rooted in the ideology of holistic wellness with a modern approach. Conversations with Neha Ahuja, the founder of the brand discussing about the brand, the beauty of Benaras and life in general were the most cherished part of this association. I was lucky to experience their new launches before photographing them which made me understand the significance of quality for them as a brand. Every product is made with love and consciously packaged while sustainably sourcing their ingredients and compensating their farmers well.
My current skincare routine involves getting my skin rid of makeup or dirt with Klean, their makeup remover followed by their cleanser. I’m lazy when it comes to toners so I’m looking forward to including their balancing toner in my routine. I apply the desired active ingredients for that particular day and follow it up with radiance – their rich night cream which thoroughly moistures my skin and smells like a delicious spa experience. I coat my lips with their lip reviving balm that makes them well hydrated. Lastly, I drench my arms and legs in their ultra rich Body butter that works like a dream on my skin while I snooze.
If you’re wondering what the products feel like, think sound of the water in the ghats of Varanasi, smell of fresh turmeric, roses, saffron, fresh breeze and the calm.
