Another year has gone by in the blink of an eye. The feeling that 2018 has come to an end today is yet to sink in. However, when I look at personal achievements, this has been a year of some considerable accomplishments in terms of associating with some great brands and creating content, working on several personal projects and achieving satisfaction, which for me, has always been the most significant aspect. There have been some wrong turns as well, which I do not regret, in fact only grateful, since they have helped me to understand the things I do not want to pursue. With the industry offering endless endorsements to advertise anything and everything, it can get a bit tricky to not deviate from what gives you happiness. That’s when sitting back and having a conversation with self helps. This exactly to me is the time for that, to celebrate the onset of a fresh set of 365 days, to set new goals, make plans while still being gentle on myself.

 While I feel nostalgic about how we will never be able to go back to 2018 ever again and how it would be referred to in past tense, I’m happy to put on my shiny little dress and prance around. Because it’s 2019!
