Shooting indoors in a controlled environment has it’s own charm and limitations. Though I’m someone who enjoys working in natural light more, shooting at a studio brings in fresh ideas along with new perspectives of looking at styling, light, photography and fashion in general. Also requires streamlining of thoughts and ideas for proper execution. When Blue Pintale reached out for a collaboration with IDFTA, the idea of working with someone new, especially a photographer like Disha got me excited.
This shoot, after a long time, came in like an exercise to prep in terms of moodboards and experimenting with make-up and hair. From a wet hair look, a top-knot to crimped hair and a faux bob, we really wanted to experiment. The powerhouse of talent, Ayesha, made it possible with her immense knowledge in make-up and beauty to achieve the looks we had in mind. And of course, Blue Pintale that did a remarkable job in bringing out the best possible. It probably wouldn’t be wrong to say this project was like testing the waters and I am already looking forward to working with this great team again. Kudos to these guys!
